It is merely a method to impress others as to the control a shaman has over magic. 2 Mystic Dart Spell Name: Mystic Dart SP Cost: 10 Syntax: mysticdart Skills used: magic spells, magic elements Description: A simple, yet effective spell, you can cause some limited damage by casting a mystic dart into your foe. The dart will strike and do damage based on the enemies armor and skills and your skills. 3 Mystic Voice Technique Name: Mystic Voice SP Cost: 10 Syntax: mysticvoice Skills used: mental focus, mental discipline Description: Using your abilities of mind and magic, you can cast your voice in the immediate area as a mystical vocal representation. This initial usage of the mystic voice shows who is the caster of the voice. The more powerful distant voice can do the same thing when targeted at a person from a distance. The similar silent voice and distant silent voice do not show the caster when successful. 4 Flame Spell Name: Flame SP Cost: 25 Syntax: flame Skills used: magic spells, magic elements Description: A warlock or witch relies upon the usage of flames as learned in the spirit flame. This spell allows the shaman to send the spirit flame in his hand as an arcing flame to burn an enemy. The damage is based on the magic spells and magic elements skills and your level. 5 Silent Voice Technique Name: Silent Voice SP Cost: 20 Syntax: silentvoice Skills used: mental focus, mental discipline Description: Similar to the mystic voice except that with this power you can keep your name silent so no one will know who is casting the mystic voice in the area. Success is based on your mental skills. Failure will result in your name being made known. 6 Mystic Shard Spell Name: Mystic Shard SP Cost: 35 Syntax: mysticshard Skills used: magic cast, magic spells, magic elements Description: A greater version of the mystic dart, the shard is a larger magical projectile that strikes damage into a foe. The power and damage caused are based on the skills and level of the shaman. 7 Cremate Spell Name: Cremate SP Cost: 25 Syntax: cremate Skills used: magic scrolls, magic elements, mental discipline Description: Using your magic abilities and your association to warlocks and witches, a shaman power is to burn a corpse to dust. Doing so allows you to take in the residual power in the corpse and absorb it in the form of health at the lowest level. The amount of power you receive is dependant on your skills. Spell Name: Spirit Totem SP Cost: 75 Syntax: totem Skills used: magic cast, magic scrolls, magic elements Description: The first of the creatures you will summon and the beginnings of your teachings as a shaman, the spirit totem is what first guided you on your journey of the mystic. Originally known as the first of the quests or the initiatory awakening, the spirit totem is what brought the first Shaman to the teachings of the rifts of space and time. This teaching and skill was brought back through the Warlock who created the Pentagon and taught of the Cosmos. The spirit totem is your companion in the mystic and to your spirit. While not meant for combat, servitude, or other mundane things, the spirit totem should guide you and express to others the mysticism of the Shaman. Your spirit totem must have a single word name and a description that fits as your spirit companion and must be within genre. The duration of the spirit totem and its strength is reliant upon your skills and level. The following is an example of creating a spirit totem: spirittotem swan This spirit is in the form of a swan. spirittotem eagle This spirit appears as a black eagle. The description should always contain the word spirit and can be longer (up to 255 characters). The way to work with your spirit totem is as follows: Normal: order to emote - orders the totem to use a true emote. order to semote - orders the totem to special emote. order to say - orders the totem to say something. order to get - orders the totem to get an item. order to drop - orders the totem to drop an item. order to unfollow me - orders the totem to unfollow you. order to follow me - orders the totem to follow you. order to unfollow me - orders the totem to unfollow you. order to attack - attacks the target. order to protect - protects the target. order to unprotect - unprotects the target. order to leave now - dismisses the totem. Special: order to spiritspeak - The totem will speak in spirit. order to spiritshock - The totem will shock the target. 8 Blood Drain Spell Name: Blood Drain SP Cost: 35 Syntax: blooddrain Skills used: mental focus, magic elements Description: A physical power for the ancient race known as vampires, this power has been accessed by the shaman to draw blood from their foes in a distant method. Focusing your mental skills you can draw the health and endurance from your enemy. The amount you drain them is dependant on your skills and level. 9 Distant Voice Technique Name: Distant Voice SP Cost: 30 Syntax: silentvoice Skills used: mental focus, mental discipline, mental telepathy Description: The distant voice is similar to the mystic voice except that you target a person who and when successful everyone in the area will hear the mystic voice. Success is based on your mental skills, failure will result in the voice not being heard. 9 Mystic Cloak Spell Name: Mystic Cloak SP Cost: 20 Syntax: mysticcloak Skills used: magic defense Description: This spell creates an invisible mystic cloak for the mage granting a moderate level of protection to them for an extended period of time. This mystical cloak will lower the chance of the mage getting hit in combat. The duration of the mystic cloak is based on your skills and level. You cannot have a mystic cloak, magic shield, or magic field around you at the same time. 10 Ice Shard Spell Name: Ice Shard SP Cost: 50 Syntax: iceshard Skills used: mental focus, magic elements, magic spells Description: Similar to the mystic shard, the ice shard is not illusion but a true weapon of ice that forms from the moisture created by the spell and can damage a foe. The amount of damage is based on your skills and level. Spell Name: Ice Wand SP Cost: 100 Syntax: icewand Coin Cost: 100 coppers Skills used: magic elements, magic spellsDescription:Similar to the ice shard, in this case the Shaman uses the power to create the shard and centers that into a small wand.Once created the wand can be aimed at an enemy and shards of ice blast into that enemy.The power of the ice wand is based on the skills of the Shaman who creates it. Because of the concentration and focus needed to create the ice wand, some time is needed to rest between making another.Also of note is the cost of materials to create the wand. 11 Sea Winds Spell Name: Sea Winds SP Cost: 50 Syntax: seawinds Skills used: magic spells, magic elements Description: The winds of the sea are something that you have the ability to change. Using this power of nature you can cause the winds to blow aboard the ship they are on, allowing the captain of the ship to sail more quickly than otherwise possible. Success or failure is based upon your skills and level. 11 Mana Spell Name: Mana SP Cost: 50 + Level Syntax: mana Skills used: magic elements, magic defense, magic scrolls Description: Creating a potion of mana can be one of the most effective means of utilizing your powers. Potions of mana allow the drinker to replenish their powers. The potency of the mana is based on your skills and level. 12 Mystic Eye Prayer Name: Mystic Eye SP Cost: 40 Syntax: mysticeye Skills used: mental discipline, mental focus, mental telepathy Description: Using your mental powers and that of your knowledge of others you have the ability to send out a mystic eye and see a person from far away. Failure can result in the person knowing who has sent the mystic eye. Success is based on your skills and level and that of the target. The mystic eye is limited to seeing people outdoors and will not penetrate walls or ceilings. 12 Snake Spell Name: Snake SP Cost: 80 Syntax: snake Skills used: magic cast, magic scrolls, magic elements Description: With your magical skills you can call upon the elements and scrolls and bring a mystical snake into your battle. This snake will protect you and fight for you until you are gone, the snake perishes, or you leave the fight. The strength of the mystical snake is based upon your level and skills. 13 Mind Influence Prayer Name: Mindinfluence SP Cost: 50 Syntax: mindinfluence Skills used: mental focus, mental discipline, intelligence Description: Shaman are sages of the mind and body and have the power to influence, probe and even control the minds of others. This is a powerful ability and has come to the Shaman from much study and training and over the years has been perfected. The first of these powers is the influencing of the mind of your target. This ability can make the target display some type of emotion. Care should be taken, since failure wil likely anger the person being influenced. Success or failure is based your skills, level, and intellegence and that of your target. 13 Silent Distant Voice Technique Name: Silent Distant Voice SP Cost: 50 Syntax: silentdistantvoice Skills used: mental focus, mental discipline, mental telepathy Description: Similar to the silent voice you can keep your name silent so no one will know who is casting the mystic voice in the area. Success is based on your mental skills. Failure will result in your name being made known. The difference with the silent distant voice is that you target the person who you want to send your mystic voice to and everyone in their immediate area will hear it. 14 Cremate Spell Name: Cremate SP Cost: 25 Syntax: cremate Skills used: magic scrolls, magic elements, mental discipline Description: Using your magic abilities and your association to warlocks and witches, a shaman power is to burn a corpse to dust. Doing so allows you to take in the residual power in the corpse and absorb it in the form of health and endurance at the higher level. The amount of power you receive is dependant on your skills. 14 Ward Spell Name: Ward SP Cost: 50 Syntax: ward Skills used: mental focus, magic cast, magic defense Description: Using mental powers and magic the Shaman can create a mystical defensive ward that is greater and more protective than the mystic cloak. Like the cloak, the deflective nature of the ward forms a type of shield around the user. The strength and duration of the shield is based on your skills and level. 15 Ice Ring Spell Name: Ice Ring SP Cost: 60 Syntax: icering Skills used: magic cast, magic scrolls, magic elements Description: The ice ring is a spinning ring of ice shards that surround the shaman and expand out striking all enemies of the caster. This ring only strikes enemies and is safe to friends. The ring causes damage and how long it lasts is based on the level and skills of the caster. 15 Mind Probe Prayer Name: Mindprobe SP Cost: 75 Syntax: mindprobe Skills used: mental focus, mental discipline, intelligence, wisdom Description: Shaman are sages of the mind and body and have the power to influence, probe and even control the minds of others. This is a powerful ability and has come to the Shaman from much study and training and over the years has been perfected. Probing the mind of your target can result in finding information about that them they normally would not reveal. This information can include their training in skills as well as the amount of money they have in the bank. Care should be taken, since failure will likely anger the person being probed. Success or failure is based your skills, level, and intelligence and wisdom as well as that of your target. 16 Last Death Prayer Name: Last Death SP Cost: 80 Syntax: lastdeath Skills used: mental focus, mental discipline, cleric faith Description: Similar to the mind powers, the ability of shaman to search the aura of an individual and find their nemesis is possible with the last death power. With extreme care you seek the mind and spirit of your target and from their aura you can find traces of a violent action such as death. Success will show you the name of the target's nemesis, allowing them to have some peace of mind. Success is based on your skills and level. Note: Be aware that other people won't believe your conclusions, especially when you use the power on a target who was pk'd and can't be used in court. Read about clean PK in "help pk". This power should not be used in public and it should be handled as a secret power of your guild. 16 Toad Spell Name: Toad SP Cost: 200 Syntax: toad Skills used: mental discipline, mental focus, magic cast, magic scrolls Description: Using a vast amount of mind power as well as magical energy you tap into and take control of your target's mind and body. If you have the power and skills sufficient to bend the will of your target you can transform them into a toad. This spell and magic is very dangerous for there is great risk that your target will not succumb to the transformation and in some cases, this failure will revert back against you. Note: This spell is only possible against players. 17 Mystic Halo Spell Name: Mystic Halo SP Cost: 60 Syntax: mystihalo Skills used: magic defense, magic spells Description: Calling upon your mystic powers you can form a halo of energy over your target's head. This power will increase the maximum amount of energy the person can have. This is temporary and the duration as well as the amount of the increase is based upon your skills and level. 17 Sleep Spell Name: Sleep SP Cost: 80 Syntax: sleep Skills used: mental discipline, mental focus, mental telepathy Description: Using your mind powers you can cause another to fall asleep. This can be quite effective against a person who you are trying to get away from or cause to stop conversing with you. Once asleep the target will not be able to move, fight, or speak. This power is not effective in combat and only effective against other adventurers. Success or failure is based on your skills and level and that of your target. Failure will cause you to become unstable and unfocussed for a period of time. Note: This power is only possible against players. 18 Cremate Spell Name: Cremate SP Cost: 25 Syntax: cremate Skills used: magic scrolls, magic elements, mental discipline Description: Using your magic abilities and your association to warlocks and witches, a shaman power is to burn a corpse to dust. Doing so allows you to take in the residual power in the corpse and absorb it in the form of health, power, and endurance at the highest level. The amount of power you receive is dependant on your skills. 18 Ice Storm Spell Name: Ice Storm SP Cost: 100 Syntax: icestorm Skills used: magic scrolls, magic cast, magic elements Description: A method to destroy many foes with a single blast, this spell has the power to cause a storm of ice shards to crash down upon everyone in the area around you. Care should be taken with this spell as it is just as likely for your friends to be smashed by the ice as it is your enemies. The storm's power and duration is dependant upon your skills and level. 19 Mind Control Prayer Name: Mindcontrol SP Cost: 100 Syntax: mindcontrol Skills used: mental focus, mental discipline, intelligence, wisdom Description: Shaman are sages of the mind and body and have the power to influence, probe and even control the minds of others. This is a powerful ability and has come to the Shaman from much study and training and over the years has been perfected. The most forceful and dangerous of the mind powers is the controlling of a person's mind. Mindcontrol can force your target to do several things, including dropping objects, unwielding weapons, or moving in a direction you choose. Because of the need for focus, the mindcontrol cannot occur during combat. Extreme care should be taken, since failure will likely result in the person attacking you. Success or failure is based on your skills, level, and intellegence and wisdom as well as that of your target. The following actions are possible: mindcontrol drop mindcontrol unwield mindcontrol move mindcontrol attack 19 Mind Read Prayer Name: Mind Read SP Cost: 200 Syntax: mindread Skills used: mental focus, mental discipline, Intelligence, Wisdom Description: Another of the powers of the mind, the ability to read another's mind is sometimes important and enlightening. Using your skills in the mental capacity you can touch a persons mind with yours gain the knowledge of who they have been conversing with and what they talked about. Some interesting information can come from this power and gaining such knowledge is often times rewarding and life saving. The chance of success is based on your level, skills, intelligence and wisdom of both you and your victim. Simple failure can cause your target to be aware that someone is attempting to probe their mind and may drain your mind some. Full failure will let the target know who is probing their mind and might even open your mind to them. Note: Only effective against other players. level 19 Spell Name: Mind Crush SP Cost: 90 Syntax: mindcrush Skills used: mental discipline, mental telepathy, mental focus, wisdom Description: Controlling and manipulating the mind of others has been the study of Shaman for millennia. The destruction of an enemies mind leans on the darker side of the spiritual Shaman. Through years of studying the mind and spirit of others, the Master Shaman have learned the ability to tie into an enemies mind and with pure will power crush their brain into smoldering mush. This technique is done by focusing on the mind of your target and in a mental grip crushing their brain. This powerful and damaging ability can make not only severely damage your enemy but will also reduce their energy. The damage to the target's brain and energy is based on the skills, level, and wisdom of the Shaman and the mental strength, intilligence, and wisdom of the victim. 20 Blood Boil Spell Name: Blood Boil SP Cost: 200 Syntax: bloodboil Skills used: magic spells, magic cast, mental focus, magic elements Description: Boiling the blood of your enemy is a powerful and debilitating spell. Effectively you turn the blood of your foe into a super heated cauldron of steam inside their body wrecking their focus, concentration, endurance and causing damage both mentally and physically. Boiling continues for the duration dependant upon your skills and level. The damage inflicted is also reliant on your skills and level. 20 Teleport Spell Name: Teleport SP Cost: 250 Syntax: teleport Skills used: magic spells, magic scrolls, magic cast, mental telepathy Description: Teleporting can be a very powerful allowing the Shaman to teleport to the center of town in where they have fealty. The Shaman uses mental and mystical powers to gather the forces of magic and move their being to a new location. Because of the stress involved, the gathering takes some time which makes doing so in battle a complex event. Teleporting can fail and be dangerous as severe failure could send the Shaman to a location not anticipated. Success or failure is based upon your level and your skills. 21 Force Spirit Prayer Name: Force Spirit SP Cost: 150 Syntax: forcespirit Skills used: mental focus, mental discipline, mental telepathy Description: A mystical power that crosses the realm of death and spirits, this power will force the waiting spirit to resurrect in the temple of the God chosen. The three temples are Waylumi, Dahkoar, and Nature. Success or failure is based upon your level and skills and that of your target. 21 Mind Block Prayer Name: Mind Block SP Cost: 100 Syntax: mindblock Skills used: mental focus, mental discipline, wisdom Description: Using your mental powers you place a block around your target's mind stopping their ability to use powers or speak to others in telepathy. This will stop all telepathic communication both in minds or on world and guild links. This power is quite debilitating to a target and can be used to humiliate and humble them in front of others or to destroy them as necessary. The duration, success, or failure of the mind block is based upon your level, skills, wisdom, and that of your target. Spell Name: Ensorcell SP Cost: 250 + a crystal Coin Cost: 50,000 Syntax: ensorcell Skills used: mental discipline, magic scrolls, magic elements, magic castDescription:This very powerful mystical magic can ensorcell any body armour to have magical properties dependant on the crystal that is used. There are several known crystals that can focus the power of the ensorcell, each with different properties. The known crystals that can be used to ensorcell your armour are yellow and blue in color. It is known that the blue crystal holds greater magical properties and the yellow greater healing properties. This is a very difficult power and success is based on your skills, while failure can result not only in the destruction of the armour, but quite likely, an explosion that will rock the area.Any body armour that is to be ensorcelled must first be prepped with an enchantment. This reason for this is lost in the annals of time but it is rumoured that the power of enchantment and charming is a lost art of the Shaman. Lastly, only non metal armour may be ensorcelled. 22 Demon Spawn Spell Name: Demon Spawn SP Cost: 200 Syntax: demonspawn Skills used: magic scrolls, magic cast, magic elements magic spells, mental focus Description: A dark and dangerous mystical ability, the power to call forth a demon spawn from the underworld is one of danger and the black arcane. Used in ancient times as dangerous guardians, the demon spawn is uncontrollable and will attack anyone where they are brought forth. Much care should be taken when using this power as one could unleash harm on friends and foes in equal measure as the demon spawn is a being of aggression and destruction and will not stop until it is destroyed. The power and strength of the demon spawn called forth is based on your skills and level. 23 Mystic Shroud Spell Name: Mystic Shroud SP Cost: 125 Syntax: mysticshroud Skills used: magic defense, magic elements, mental focus, mental telepathy Description: The mystic shroud is a shimmering shroud of energy that surrounds you and protects against all forms of attacks. It is similar to the mystic cloak but much more powerful and long lasting. Unlike the mystic cloak, the shroud will last until the energy in it depletes. The power of the shroud and the amount of energy it can hold is dependant on your skills and level. 23 Teleport Other Spell Name: Teleport Other SP Cost: 300 Syntax: teleport Skills used: magic spells, magic scrolls, magic cast, mental telepathy Description: Teleporting another person is slightly different than the standard teleportion in that you teleport your target directly to you. As with standard teleportation the Shaman gathers mental and mystical powers to form a magical rift in space and bring the target to their location. Because of the stress involved, the gathering takes some time to perform. The danger involved is in severe failure which can send the target to another unanticipated location. Success or failure is based upon your level and your skills. 24 Becalm Spell Name: Becalm SP Cost: 80 Syntax: becalm Skills used: magic spells, magic scrolls, magic elements Description: Another power of the sea, the ability to use the magic of the elements can allow you to becalm the winds around the target ship, keeping them from sailing from the area. The strength and duration of this power is based upon the level and skills of the shaman. 24 Mass Sleep Spell Name: Mass Sleep SP Cost: 150 Syntax: masssleep Skills used: mental discipline, mental focus, mental telepathy Description: Similar to the sleep power, the mass sleep can cause anyone in the immediate area of the shaman to fall asleep, stopping them from movement, fighting, or conversation. Those not able to resist the shaman will fall asleep at your feet. Because of the need to completely focus, you will not be able to use this power in combat and you must remain in your current location until the spell completes. Success or failure is based on your skills and level and that of your target. Failure will cause you to become unstable and unfocussed for a period of time. Note: This power is only possible against players. 25 Ultrablast Spell Name: Ultra Blast SP Cost: 250 Syntax: Ultrablast Skills used: magic spells, magic cast, magic elements, magic scrolls, mental discipline, mental focus Description: Combining the forces of the cosmos and bringing in the elements of water, fire, wind, and earth, you mold together a force of destruction that will blast everyone in the area. This powerful release of energy cannot be contained to only enemies of the Shaman as the radiating energies flash out from the user and into every living thing. As the power unfolds and the shards of the ultra blast hammer into your foes they will literally melt under the power and those without strong defenses will explode in a shower of ashes. The power of the ultra blast is dependant on your skills and level and the skills, level, armour and other defenses of the victims. Prayer Name: Insanity SP Cost: 250 Syntax: insanity Skills used: mental focus, mental discipline, mental telepathyDescription:Power over the mind is a capricious and sometimes dangerous thing and manipulation of someone's mental capacity can be the cause of much debate. The mystical power to control a mind is something a Shaman at this rank has long since mastered and it was that mastery that could have caused the first of many experiments into the psyche.It is written that the shaman De'lorivil practiced mind powers on his slave Zanaghi for so long that eventually the slave became insane and in a fit of rage killed his master in his sleep. This has become both a warning and encouragement to many shaman who have found the ancient notes of De'lorivil and established usage of the power.Much care should be given in using this power as there is risk that the insane one may attack innocents, even murdering them. Other affects have been known to cause the victim to yell out, speak gibberish, act in a wild manner, drop items or weapons, and even run around without use of their faculties.Some have laughed and others scoffed at the power to make a person insane, but it is up to the shaman to determine whether the rewards warrant the risks.Success or failure is based on the skills and level of the Shaman and that of the target.NOTE: This is a very volatile roleplay tool and should be used accordingly. All involved should roleplay this seriously even though laughter may result from the victim's behaviour. 26 Mind Melt Prayer Name: Mind Melt SP Cost: 180 Syntax: mindmelt Skills used: mental focus, mental discipline, wisdom, mental telepathy Description: The mind melt is a dangerous and debilitating power. Using your mental skills, wisdom and intelligence, you focus on another's mind and attempt to melt it, causing them to completely lose all of their powers. The long duration of this power will keep them in this feeble state until they can relearn their powers at their guild. It is a dangerous power and failure can result in several different events, including the shaman losing their own powers. Success or failure of the mind melt is based upon your level, skills, wisdom, intelligence and that of your target. 26 Teleport Shaman Spell Name: Teleport Shaman SP Cost: 350 Syntax: teleport Skills used: magic spells, magic scrolls, magic cast, mental telepathy Description: Teleporting to a Shaman is slightly different than the standard method of teleportion in that you teleport to a member of your guild. Similar to teleporting another to you, this method will allow you to gather your mental and mystical powers to form a magical rift in space and send you to the target you choose. Like all teleporting, the stress involved causes the release of energies and will take some time to perform. The danger involved is in severe failure which can send you to an unanticipated location. Success or failure is based upon your level and your skills. 27 Reflect Spell Name: Reflect SP Cost: 100 Syntax: reflect Skills used: mental focus, mental discipine, magic cast magic defense Description: A power much greater than the ward, this ability allows you to set up a reflective mystical ward that will reflect some of the damage from attacks toward you, into the person attacking you. This can cause suprise and confusion to your foe and in many cases make them falter or run from your power. The strength and duration of the reflective ward is based upon the skills and level of the shaman. 28 Vortex Spell Name: Vortex SP Cost: 350 Syntax: vortex Skills used: mental discipline, mental focus, mental telepathy, magic scrolls, magic cast, magic spells Description: The vortex is a spell that causes an opening in fabric of space and time and draws forth a mystical cone of energy to spin into the first plane of existence. This cone of energy blasts into all foes of the shaman causing mental, physical, and spiritual damage. The vortex is time consuming making the preparation extensive and the final outcome tremendous in scope. Many will succumb and fall to the power of the vortex if they find themselves within the cone of energy to be torn apart like weak branches in a gale force storm. The power and destruction of the vortex is based upon your skills and level. 29 Demon Spell Name: Demon SP Cost: 400 Syntax: demon Skills used: magic scrolls, magic cast, magic elements magic spells, mental discipline Description: Father of the demon spawn, the powerful and deadly demon is a creature of the underworld and created through dangerous mystical energies. The demon is much more dangerous and powerful than the demon spawn.
